ROCKET CLUB

This is a hands-on class to build a water powered rocket.  Launching from Cruise Lines private island everyone on land and on the ship gets to see your masterpiece fly 200 feet into the air.   It is easy to refuel your rocket, so you will be able to launch it more than one time.  Challenge a friend or parent to see who can make the best rocket design.  Put your rocket on display so everyone can see your engineering skills. All ages are welcome, however smaller children will need an older helper.

 The rocket is made from recycled soda or water bottles and cardboard. 

Class

Two to three 50 min classes

25 participants per rocket club team, (two rocket club teams (50 people).

This can easily be scaled up to support more club teams.

  Learn how rockets work.

  Learn the safety rules to ensure the launch goes smoothly.

  Build and paint your rocket with a friend or parent.

Cruise line provides (Land):

         Launch space on privet island.  Approximately 200ft X 100ft

         Safety cons and security tape line or rope.

      40psi compressed air or bicycle pump

 Classroom space with table

         Empty water or soda bottles and cardboard

         Paints and brushes

         Scissors

I will provide following equipment:

         Training, lectures, and construction help

         Support team, my wife and I, plus if you would like to provide additional support.

         Two to three launch pads.

         Launch and safety management.

         Portable PA system for count down.
